Connected pieces should be made aligned:
There should be a proper alignment of the piece that connects the tiles with each other. If they are not aligned, the tiles may not fit properly, and it may cause damage to the tiles.
The edge of the tiles may get broken due to excess pressure. If the grid beams are too loose, there will be a gap between the tiles, which will not rest properly.
Sometimes it may cause the tiles to fall, and the tiles may break if they are not fitted properly.

What types of grid systems are used for drop ceilings?
There are three types of grid systems used for the drop ceilings. They are Standard 1 grid, slimline, and concealed grid systems. And the grids are made of four types of material such as plastic, acoustical, tin, and cork.
