As woods tend to be porous, they absorb the carbon dioxide that the gorilla glue releases when it cures. Thus, it doesn’t create any gap or cause the wood to fall apart.
Specifically, the gorilla wood glue has been designed to be used on wood. It is water-resistant and dries in a natural color, which gives the wood a clean finished look.
